wordpress/ fantastico

Hi,
I have just signed up for an account,
From the sales page I was under the impression that fantastico was installed and I could use this to easily install wordpress software -which is what I want to use to make my site.
However, I can't find fantastico on the control panel or work out how to install wordpress.

Please could someone point me in the right direction?

Your account is on server where softaculous is install instead of fantastico, if you wish to install wordpress you can install it by login into your cpanel >> software/services >> softaculous there you find an option for installation of wordpress.

Softaculous is similar to Fantastico which is bundled with many more built-in features and applications compared to Fantastico. It's user friendly interface gives you the ability to install and upgrade large number of supported web applications at the click of a button hence we have replaced Fantastico and have started offering you Softaculous on our cPanel shared hosting packages.

Right and we have been receiving many requests for setting up accounts on servers that have Softaculous installed.

Interesting. I often hear about Softaculous and its advantages over Fantastico, but never tried it myself. Do you think that in the future Softtaculous will replace Fantastico, just like Firefox replaced IE, and Google replaced Yahoo?

Yeah, it seems that Softaculous would surely be overtaking Fantastico in near future.
As compare to Fantastico Softaculous have huge number of inbuilt scripts which can be installed just by few clicks !

My softaculous installation doesn't seem to have the option to install Wordpress.

This would be useful as when I try a manual installation of Wordpress I am getting an error 500 Internal server error
