Default Reporting for outages

I just spent a while trying to open my blog site in Firefox, but ended up getting the 'Address Not Found' message.

Having filled in the form for a Support Ticket, I thought I'd give it one more go before actually submitting the ticket to the Helpdesk - of course the site worked this time!

So I'm just wondering, am I supposed to send in the ticket anyway for 'reporting' purposes, or just delete it? It could be that there was an issue which was resolved and Web Hosting UK knew about, or it could be an intermittant problem or something. In short though, it looks like no action is actually required.

TIA

If you're positive it wasn't on your end then I would recommend submitting the ticket for investigation

I don't really know what happened, and it might have been a momentary glitch that appeared just as I was trying to get onto the site.

I tried the normal URL and got the error I mentioned above. After a few more tries, I tried to get into cPanel, which gave the same error.

Then I tried to get into cPanel using the 4 number IP address with '/cpanel' appended, and got to cPanel's home page asking me to register with them. I ignored this, and then just tried the IP address for my blog site, and a page with 'PHP' at the top and loads of tables of settings appeared.

It was at this point I started to write the ticket. But then found it had been rectified.
