TMP Files on Surrey

Every 2-3 weeks the MySql stops working on my sites run from the Surrey server. Each time I have to contact support who clear out the tmp files on the server and then things work again for a short while until the next time.

Now I understand that there is a cron script to delete the tmp files but for some reason this is failing to do it's job.

I am unhappy that despite raising this time and again with support, this issue has not been resolved. I have raise tickets too and still this continues.

So, what will it take to get this problem resolved once and for all?

We have cleared the data in /tmp and added a script on your account which will clear unwanted files from /tmp evey hour. Ticket: OOR-422-56056 has been replied by one of our admins addressing the same. Please update the same ticket if you need further assistance and keep the forum thread updated once the issue gets solved.

Mysql failed again tonight for my sites on this server. A Mysql restart seemed to the trick.

Hope this is not related. I don't have much faith in the Surrey server.

Well, I just checked with our support admin about the server status and is working fine, if you want we can move your account on other server if you think there's some problem with the Surrey. You just need to email our support team and request them for account migration. We will take complete care of the data migration.

I am not impressed - you have had plenty of time to resolve this and have failed.
