nee help abour cpanel

I have just purchased a domain on Godaddy. I literally only bought the domain, nothing else. I'm new to this and Im watching youtube tutorials. On the tutorial it says go to the cpanel (WHM). I'm presuming I need to add hosting to my website by godaddy, and then i will be able to access the WHM.

Ps. Please don't say things like 'you need more experience to make a website'. I'm learning. Any other advice welcome!

Hello,

That's right you'll need to add hosting for this domain name. Once you have a hosting account, your hosting company will allocate a control panel to you. They will also provide you instructions to access the control panel. You will then need to link this domain to the hosting account by changing the nameservers for the domain name to the ones they provide to you.

You will get cPanel/WHM control panel with the Linux based hosting packages. However, WHM is only offered with Reseller hosting plans and Linux Servers. You can opt for a cPanel shared hosting package with which you will get cPanel control panel and you can add domain in it. Once you purchase the hosting package, you may refer cPanel tutorials or contact the technical support and get help to link your domain to the hosting. cPanel is one of the most user friendly and easy to use control panel widely used in the hosting industry.
