cPanel update error

Hi,
for the last few days i've been receiving the following cPanel update error email.

Running `/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/updatenow --upcp --log=/var/cpanel/updatelogs/update.1318988706.log` failed, exited with code 256

any suggestions?
