Default Easy hosting control panel

I was searching some notes for cPanel control panel however I found a new control panel named as Easy Hosting control panel.

Has anyone yet heard about it?

If yes, then, can you please tell what are the features of this control panel and how is this control panel useful as compared to other control panels such as cPanel and Plesk ?

Yes, mostly Ubuntu & Debian users prefer EHCP. Honestly, EHCP is very easy to use and understand and the installation is an easy one.

There's a feature list available right on their website. Here are some of them:

* Full php, full opensource, easily modifiable, customazible, ehcp templates
* Unlimited "resellers, panel users, domains, ftp users, emails, mysqls"
* Domains, subdomains, ftp, mysql, dns (automatic), email etc. management
* password protected domains,
* Email forwarding, autoreply, catch-all emails,
* Web-stats (webalizer)
* web-ftp (net2ftp)
* Easy Install Scripts (scripts easily downloaded and copied by means of server)
* Disk quota control,
* Custom http, custom dns, domain aliases, domain redirect,
* Ssl support
* Different languages, templates support, a few lang/templates included,
* Different Menus/pages for Server Admin, Reseller, domain admin, email user (4 level)
* server backup/restore (files+db)
* domain transfer to another ehcp user
* simple, light, fast, host hundreds of domains in it.
* supports Ubuntu 6-10.04, debian 4,5, all debian based linux'es,
* Any server related program may be installed with Ubuntu's apt-get command,
* Almost all programs are always up-to-date when you update your server, with Ubuntu's: apt-get update ; apt-get upgrade
* Opensource, GPL, free, full php, object oriented, modular, easily modifiable/extendable design

The features look impressive. Is this control panel free to use? But does it not work on Centos ?

cPanel would be a wise choice if you go have a CentOS server.
Excellent features, easy to use control panel, most popular & widely used control panel.

EHCP is a new Hosting Control Panel in Linux world. Although it is in beta stage, its basic functions are well functioning. it operates strongly with debian/ubuntu”s apt-get package manager. It differs from other control panels, or even other opensource panels that, ehcp is the first and only: opensource,full php, object oriented, gpl, free hosting control panel on the earth ! You may use ehcp to easily setup a hosting environment, for yourself or for selling hosting..You may also use it for only ftp hosting..

I think EHCP control panel is a good option for Debian users as it is very easy to install it, helps you to manage your server and does not require any licensing fee which is indeed a benefit.

What are some of the main advantages of Easy Hosting Control Panel compared to cPanel? I suppose there might be disadvantages, too, but I'm wondering what others think is the best choice for a control panel that you are the least likely to outgrow?

From what I've read and seen in demos, most control panels seem to have more features and flexibility than many website owners ever utilize. I must admit that I use mine for uploading files, monitoring traffic statistics, and little else.

It's the first time I hear about this control panel. I think I'm going to try it the next time I get a Linux hosting package. Its features look quite impressive and the name sounds catchy. Everyone seems to agree that Easy Hosting Control Panel is indeed easy to use...

Based on the features list, it appears that Easy Control Panel isn't for Windows. Am I incorrect about that? It does sound like a very nice control panel, although I do love cPanel.
