Default migrate email accounts from other host

Hi,

I have a domain hosted in other company also using cpanel (11.24.4-RELEASE), and will soon migrate the files and database. My question is about the mail accounts, and the mails on this accounts.

-Is there some way I could migrate mail account without setting up again address, quota, passwords, etc.?

-And what about the emails currrently in inbox, spam, and other folders, could I migrate this data too?

thank you

Hi,

Your account can be migrated for free. Once you place your order you can request for a migration

Everything you have at your current host; files, emails will be migrated.

Hi,

cPanel does not provide any option to migrate just email accounts. However, it does provide an option as "Download Email Domain Forwarder or Filter Backup"

Generally a full backup from cPanel is taken that includes website’s files, directories, databases, and email configurations. So, its a back-up of everything. However, to get it restored, you will need to contact the Technical Dept.

Restoration needs to be completed from the administrative end in which only WHUK support can access.

Migrating the entire account and deleting necessary files will be the better option if you don't want all the files

You can directly approach one of the System Administrators and ask them to talk you through the entire process. I'm sure they will happily assist you with the required information and steps that you wish to learn.
