Default Issues with mailing lists?

Hi

First off, I hope this is suitable for the thread - wasn't sure which one to post this question in. If not - please feel free to move it to a more appropriate thread.

I'm experiencing repeated problems with my mailing list on cPanel shared hosting. It was running excellent and stable for about 6 months, but within the last 6 weeks it has gone down 5 times, reporting a ery low level failure without any further information.
Now - every time, the on-line support (and in one case submitted support ticket) has fixed the problem - but only for it to reappear a few days later. While the guys at the support desk assure me it will work fine now, having done the fire-fighting, it seems that perhaps there's some broader issue in terms of maintenance or log-clearing that's not being addressed?

Its great to have the online support resource, but I get the impression that there is perhaps some things they can't deal with that might be causing these problems?

Hello, todays instance of the mailing lists going down was due a bug in the application software; Mailman; which needed an upgrade/update. I don't find any more problems on the server at the moment, but incase you continue to face this issue, we can have your account migrated off to a different server.. Please open up a ticket or initiate a live chat session if you come across the problem with the list, we'd investigate & provide you with a permanent solution for sure

Maybe you didn't find any more problems, but the "fix" lasted for ONE email sent to the list before it crashed again.
The list was running flawlessly for 6 months, but the last 6 weeks has been a complete nightmare - everytime being reassured that this error will not develop again - everything is fixed, only for it to reoccur with such a high frequency is rather disappointing.
I have this time submitted a support ticket instead of using on-line support (2nd ticket on the issue and 4 "fixes" from on-line support) - so hopefully we can come to a solution soon. Ticket ref #IJQ-41967-314

sorted once again - I hope it will be a more robust solution this time

(Now moving onto online support to get all databases back up and running tonigt - I'm having a great run these days - lol)
