Disabling front page from cPanel

Is it posible/safe to disable front page - all those _vti_* directories are bugging me

I can only see install and uninstall front page extensions in cPanel and not sure if i'm going to break cpanel by uninstalling them from the command line. I've never used Front Page so totally clueless.

Paul, you can disable FrontPage using your cPanel control panel. You need to click on “uninstall front page extensions” option. [ if you have installed it for your account ]
Uninstalling Frontpage will not affect your cPanel performance.
