Fantastico Updates

I have read that scripts of popular cpanel-style products like Fantastico are frequently not maintained by many of the web hosting provider who offer them, thus leaving older releases of such products with security problems. I want to know whether web hosting uk maintains an up-to-date and secure list of mods and scripts or not?

Fantastico is an external library of scripts provided by Netenberg which is integrated with cPanel for customer convenience. As and when Fantastico releases updates, we also run fantastico upgrades. Having said that, there have been past instances where script version upgradations on Fantastico have caused a few issues with cPanel compatibility owing to difference in versions of complementary modules. This has been a reason for one set of updates to be actually rolled back. Webhosting UK will always keep fantastico upto date till the time it does not hinder cPanel modules functionality.

Yes updates are done on a regular basis and in most of the cases, they can also be customized based on the hosting requirements of any particular individual or package.
