Yes, you should be more specific with what you are trying to express. It is difficult for others to understand and this might take the conversation somewhere else

I use cpanel and absolutely love it. Part of it is what you're accustomed to, I guess, but it's great for me. I practically live in the File Manager and Awstats areas, but look forward to trying out the other features as the need arises.

DotNetPanel is an open source control panel and therefore it is free whereas Plesk comes at a price. DotNetPanel offers a wide range of features and it is highly efficient in terms of managing the web hosting resources. It supports different forms of web hosting therefore it is an ideal solution for the Windows web hosting providers. DotNetPanel also offers support for Hyper-V VPS servers and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 email services. Therefore the web hosting providers can offer the latest web hosting and email hosting services with DotNetPanel. DotNetPanel can also be used along with the SmartTools SmarterMail application that can offer the users with the access to one of the best known webmail applications available for Windows web hosting environments and it also offers advanced yet user-friendly webmail interface. DotNetPanel provides support for Microsoft Exchange Server and Hyper-V VPS server hosting services; this makes it possible for the web hosting companies to offer the latest technologies to business web hosting customers who demand the most efficient Windows web hosting services.

I've only worked with Windows servers, and I've grown fond of Plesk. I've tried Dotnetpanel too, but didn't find it as user-friendly as Plesk. I've been thinking of testing a Linux server for a while, but I couldn't find the time so far. Is cPanel easier or more difficult to use than the ones mentioned above?

I've used Plesk before but I've mainly always used cPanel and WHM.

In my personal experience I would think in general cPanel is as easy to use as Plesk. The user interface and layout of everything is of course different but it doesn't take long to get used to using cPanel. It has everything from website stats (and multiple options - graphical, text or even Raw Access Logs (which essentially is a text file with full information about each and every visitor to your website), to IP Deny Manager (for blacklisting IPs from your website) to built-in File Manager and Online Editor if you ever can't use FTP to modify your website at some point. The major downfall is Plesk is available for Linux and Windows based VPS and Dedicated Servers, whereas cPanel is a Linux-only web hosting control panel.

The only control panel I've used is cpanel. I would need a very compelling reason to change. It's loaded with features, very intuitive, and I can't imagine a control panel being any easier to use. If someone is just starting out in the world of website publishing, cpanel is an excellent place to begin.

I think cPanel and Plesk are equally efficient. I think the control panel to be used should be decided according to the operating system used and personal preference.

I don't think we can speak of the best control panel. It's really a matter of choice really. Personally, I find both cPanel and Plesk to be just as good and friendly to use. I've also tried Enkompass (which - I've read - is a made by the creators of cPanel) and Dotnetpanel (which is a good free option).

I have a good experience of working with cPanel. The best thing about cPanel is that it uses an intuitive graphical interface and therefore it becomes possible to edit almost all the options that are required while running a website. Most of cPanel’s features are relatively easy to use but if you get stuck there are plenty of tutorials available on the internet because of the large user base. While you could always contact your web hosting company if you need help with your hosting the fact that tutorials are readily available for cPanel makes learning much easier.

It's true that cPanel is very intuitive. Not having used the other control panels, I wonder if the same might be said for them. Any control panel should have an interface that doesn't involve a learning curve that impedes your work. I've heard many good things about both cPanel and Plesk.

I have used Plesk and I am of the opinion that it is one of the most stable control panels that has the capacity of protecting your website from hackers, server crashes and downtime. The administrative interface of your website can be very well protected with Plesk. The fantastic performance given by Plesk also adds to the stability of the program. Plesk is user-friendly, every feature provided by Plesk can be adopted and implemented by the user in a short span of time.

Right, Linux hosting platform is widely used and cPanel seems to be the best control panel used in webhosting industry. No other control panel can ever beat cPanel when it comes to offered features, usability, interface and ofcourse the pricing. Even the Plesk control panel is equally popular and is similar to cPanel. Many webmaster who loves Microsoft based Windows Hosting platform go with Plesk.
Dotnet Panel was not able to defy both of them till now.

I agree. Plesk is one of the most well known and efficient control panel that is very powerful and user friendly. The best thing about Plesk is that it has a very clean and user-friendly interface. No user would need to have through technical knowledge for using Plesk. Moreover it is also comparatively stable as compared to the other control panels.

Indeed. Plesk is an easy to use control panel. cPanel is also a powerful one. Ultimatlely, both are good and it is a matter of personal preference. Usually users prefer cpanel for linux and plesk for windows.
