Default Zencart Hosting With Wordpress

Hi,

I am planning to create a new e commerce website which is going to have wordpress as the back end cms. I am planning to use zen cart for the commercial purpose. I wanted to know is that ok to go a head with Zen Cart or should i have a look to other carts. If yes, do i need to integrate both of them into my website or just one is enough?
Please explain me.....

Hi.

There are some good open source application to choose for shopping cart and website
requirements.

If you are looking for the website and shop on the same domain then you have a good option to choose wordpress or joomla as a site CMS application and magento/zencart or oscommarce as shopping application which can be installed in the subfolder under same domain or subdomain of the main site.

WebSite : http://yoursite.tld
Shop Under Subfolder : http://yoursite.tld/shop
Shop Under Subdomain : http://shop.yoursite.tld

Also you can use popular wordpress or joomla as CMS and Shopping cart on the same domain. You will find various themes, pluggins that integrate such functionality.

Thanks Kieran,

What would you like to suggest me, which should be the best option with wordpress, joomla, magento with the zencart. Do suggest me the hosting package as well as there are plenty of packages in it. So do tell me the web hosting packages that will suits completely on any of the combination you will suggest .

If you're looking for another shopping cart, Avactis Shopping Cart is a good choice. It can be easily integrated into your website without any need of any programming skills, you can also asked for their professional team for assistance.

Avactis is a PHP+MySQL based shopping cart application that has multiple versions (including free). Avactis major advantage is that it simply integrates your online store into your existing site. Also it supports most of the payment gateways including PayPal, Google Checkout and much more.

One of our cPanel hosting plans would be the best option for you. Not only these hosting plans support wordpress, joomla, magento and zencart but you will also get Softaculous auto-installer with our cPanel hosting plans through which you will be able to install wordpress, joomla, magento and zencart with a few simple clicks.
