Default New Users on Cloud Hosting

I've heard a lot of good things about cloud hosting. Is it good for a new user, like me, to use this kind of hosting bypassing the normal hosting packages like shared hosting or VPS hosting?

Hello,

A website is operating on multiple connected servers is termed as cloud-hosting. In traditional hosting services (shared/dedicated hosting), we have limited to a single server. For cloud hosting the website now has the access to multiple servers. Virtually, the processing power is tremendous as the new server can be added and new server and scale up.

Regards,
Ken.

Yeah, cloud hosting is getting more popularity recently as it's based on advance computing architecture where multiple servers are interconnected to form a cluster and your website is hosted on such cluster which ensure you 100% network & power uptime guarantee hence if you want to host your business website/application which should not be down for a fraction of second then cloud hosting is recommended as compare to other traditional hosting solutions.

I appreciate the explanation.

Does this mean that there will never be a downtime in cloud hosting? How about the files, will they be copied in all the cloud servers?

In cloud hosting the VM (Virtual Machine) data is stored on a remote storage like a SAN or a NFS, & all the servers in the cluster (cloud) are connected to the same storage. So if one server goes down, another server takes the task to run the VM.
