While creating an FTP account from cPanel

On the top FTP Accounts page you will be prompted for all the necessary details for your new account:

While creating new FTP account please do not insert any path in "Directory" Section or always use public_html or / in "Directory" section. The box "Directory" , determines which will be the home directory of the newly created account.

Like if you mentioned "/home/cpanelusername/public_html/test1". The FTP account will only have the access "test1 " folder at "/home/cpanelusername/public_html/".

Generally the Document Root for your Primary domain is "/home/cpanelusername/public_html/" hence we ask user to choose this as home Directory path,

Same way Leaving "Directory" Section blank will allow a full access to your hosting account.

In order to complete the FTP account creation, click on Create at the end of the section, and then try to access FTP account.
