We have tested new
cPanel VPS Optimized on couple of our cPanel test VPS's and there seems to be huge difference in memory usage. RAM is the most important thing on VPS's and cPanel seems to have given best possible solution to all VPS
web hosting providers.
I won't suggest you to upgrade your cpanel version as of now as cPanel will need some time to bring the new version in release / stable tree.
