That maybe so and maybe you can mod it no doubt, but as I mentioned phpbb has it as standard so gets my vote. I guess it is about what you get accustomed to. Since the early days i remember phpbb and invision, and all communities seemed to use one or the other.
Also phpbb is free which makes all the difference.
